Black Clover Chapter 1

In a world where magic defines everything, Asta relentlessly trains his physical body despite lacking any magical power, repeatedly proposing to a nun and declaring his dream of becoming the Wizard King. During a grimoire acceptance ceremony, local youths receive their spellbooks, and Yuno attracts widespread admiration by obtaining a rare grimoire. Soon after, a mysterious man traps Yuno with binding magic to steal his grimoire. Asta rushes to help, but his physical attacks fail against the powerful magic user, who mocks Asta for having no magical abilities whatsoever. Refusing to surrender, Asta recalls his shared childhood vow with Yuno as a battered, unexpected blade materializes before him.
