Black Clover Chapter 268

Asta watches as the memories of his devil unfold, revealing a harsh existence at the bottom of the underworld hierarchy where the creature was cast out and hunted by humans due to lacking magic. Left to die, the young devil finds refuge in a small cottage belonging to a kind-hearted woman named Licita, who possesses the unique ability to absorb and store magic and life force. Treating the lonely entity as her own child and naming him Liebe, she offers warmth and belonging despite the inherent dangers. However, tragedy strikes when a powerful presence discovers them and attempts to possess Liebe, forcing Licita to make a desperate sacrifice to protect him.
