In the present, the squad successfully evades the necromites while Yuva worries over Lilisen, who has fallen unconscious. Pressing onward into the dark upper levels, Yuva, Lilisen's group, and their mouse companions discover a massive mound composed entirely of undead bodies. Above them, Karash begins chanting an ominous resurrection spell, sending shockwaves through the group as they realize the full scale of the looming terror.
