Haimiya Is Scary Cute Chapter 17

Toya encounters Haimiya and Kurose in the infirmary while helping out with daily chores. After joking around and weighing themselves on an old-school scale, Toya steps away briefly to visit the faculty room. During his absence, Toya finds Haimiya sitting quietly by the outdoor pond and joins her outside. He honestly explains that he wanted to befriend Kurose because he noticed him spending too much time alone, expressing genuine admiration for his classmate's good nature. Haimiya listens closely to his sincere words before unexpectedly shoving Toya backward into the water. When Kurose returns shortly afterward, he is completely shocked to discover a flailing Toya soaking wet in the pond alongside a seemingly unfazed Haimiya.
