Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You Chapter 31

During a farewell party at an izakaya, a heavily intoxicated Yamada sneaks outside for a smoke break behind the building. Sasaki arrives shortly after, finding a very tipsy and unusually affectionate Tayama who babbles adorably and even sits on his lap. As they chat about the party, Sasaki reflects on her kind nature while nervously maintaining boundaries. Coworkers Oba and Ms. Ono soon venture outside to look for Yamada and eventually lead her back inside. The next day, Yamada arrives at the supermarket gripped by intense embarrassment and regret, agonizing over the blurry, embarrassing memories of how she acted around Sasaki while completely drunk.
