Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You Chapter 55

Sasaki visits the supermarket where he talks with Yamada and purchases sushi on discount before heading out back for a smoke break. Meanwhile, Gotou and Maezawa check on the staff regarding overdue performance reviews. Later, Sasaki accidentally drops his performance review paper while smoking behind the building. Yamada notices and returns it to him, apologizing for catching a glimpse of the contents, which leads to a quiet, emotional moment between the two as they share a cigarette and reflect on their personal lives.
