Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You Chapter 57

Sasaki arrives early at the supermarket for his smoke break and encounters Oono, who nervously invites him inside while she waits for Yamada to finish her morning shift. As Sasaki smokes and chats with Oono, she reflects on a former coworker nicknamed Kevin, recalling how she used to visit the spot every year to remember him since everyone else had forgotten. When Oono suddenly starts coughing and mentions that this year will be the last, Sasaki panics and checks on her before Yamada abruptly appears behind him. Yamada teases Sasaki for arriving early, wishes him luck on his trip, and quickly slips away inside before he can fully process her affectionate gesture, leaving him smiling and holding her cigarette pack.
