Black Clover Chapter 42

Asta confronts the enemy in the cavern, furiously demanding answers for the stolen magic and the harm done to the children. Sister Theresa tends to the injured youngsters while Gauche struggles with his overwhelming protective instincts toward Marie. Asta subdues the captor with powerful strikes while expressing deep outrage over the pain of losing magic. As the children begin to regain consciousness and calm down, Sister Theresa notices familiar connections from back home. Just as the heroes gather themselves and assess the situation inside the hidden cave, a sudden spatial magic portal opens up, and an unexpected acquaintance from the Eye of the Midnight Sun arrives to shake things up.
