Black Clover Chapter 44

Sister Theresa uses her flame creation magic to summon a guiding leopard, helping the children escape while she holds the line against the monstrous threat. Meanwhile, Asta rushes in to save Marie and confronts the mutated creature using his anti-magic sword, questioning why her brother, Gauche, would abandon her. Gauche retreats on his broom, reflecting on a painful past where losing their noble standing left them isolated and deeply distrustful of everyone except each other. However, seeing Marie refuse to leave behind the children and Sister Theresa sparks a change of heart. As Asta pushes forward with relentless determination despite the overwhelming danger, Gauche looks on in astonishment at his unwavering resolve.
