Ichi the Witch Chapter 5

Entering a grand hall for registration, Ichi and Descaras meet members of the research club who guide them to a special chamber. Inside, Ichi notices a hidden mirror on the ceiling and senses powerful presences watching him from the other side. Prompted to demonstrate his abilities, Ichi unleashes the Raiko majik to create a powerful lightning claw attack that blows apart the ceiling. The guides reveal that witches of the association are observing his every move to judge whether he poses a danger. Displeased by this hidden surveillance and the distrustful atmosphere, Ichi contemplates a dangerous counteroffer.
