Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You Chapter 24

Sasaki encounters Miss Tayama waiting outside the closed supermarket for her boss to drive her home, and they share another quiet smoke break together. While chatting, Miss Tayama asks Sasaki why he started smoking, prompting him to open up about how he once considered quitting work until someone helped him realize his passion for his job. He then turns the question around and asks her why she started, leading her to reflect on how a certain person helped her see her own value. Feeling he has overstepped and acted like a busybody, Sasaki later regrets his words at home, while Miss Tayama smokes on her balcony and reflects on her growing fondness for him.
