Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You Chapter 23

Tayama discovers that her dog-themed keychain, a gift from Sasaki, is missing from her pocket, sending her into a panic as she frantically searches the supermarket area. Sasaki arrives shortly after and encounters Chief Maezawa and her child outside, sharing a brief and awkward greeting. Meanwhile, Sasaki notices the lost keychain lying near the entrance and brings it to Yamada at the register, explaining that he wants to return it to Miss Tayama. Yamada is deeply touched by his gesture and accepts the item with a relieved smile. As Sasaki leaves, Yamada notices the dirt on his clothes from searching outside and realizes how much care he put into finding her precious gift.
